Contractor of the Year Award Winner: Modern Master Bath Retreat in Media, PA

Recently completing their downstairs powder room; our clients were ready to move onto their master bath which was in desperate need of some attention. They both lead very busy lives and wanted a place of tranquility and peace to come home to. Our clients wanted a more functional space, a much larger shower, innovative design, better lighting, a more open, airy and welcoming feel and a design that would complement their personal taste and aesthetic. The original space had a very dated and cold look; his & her vanities were flanked on either side of the tub and the small shower was tucked in a corner. Overall the space lacked design, symmetry, color, aesthetic and function. The space was completely transformed into an earthy modern adult retreat with a functional and unique design aesthetic. Our clients have a deep love for art and through the design and materials the master bath became a piece of living art.

Meritorious Award Winner: Contemporary Master Bath in Doylestown, PA

Unique and one-of-a-kind. This contemporary master bath plays with the avant-garde and untraditional by using colored mosaic brick glass tile, resin panels, exotic leather stone, dark wood cabinetry and textured Sunset Glory Slate. Welcoming you into the space is a large curved multi-colored glass mosaic shower wall complimented by the custom curved bench seat across from the shower. Resin panels created privacy and specific zones within the space. Boucle Tweed glazed vessel sinks and polished chrome faucets contrast the exotic leather stone countertop creating this balance between soft and hard. The purpose of this project was to provide our client with and up-dated, adult retreat with one-of-a-kind design elements. This space was to flow into the master bedroom. Our clients wanted an open space that still created privacy zones within the master bathroom. This project involved removing an existing interior wall, fabricating a custom curved shower and window bench to echo the shower’s form. A 24” diameter ceiling flush-mount rain shower head was installed as well creating quite a design feature.
