As a boutique design/build studio specializing in full-service design and remodeling, it’s always been a major point of pride for those of us at HomeTech Renovations to offer individual, one-on-one attention to every client we serve.
After all, a renovation project has the power to completely transform the lives of a home’s residents. And because every customer’s lifestyle and aesthetic interests are different, we believe that every home renovation—no matter how large or small—needs to be uniquely tailored to the resident, and to the space she wants to create.
That’s certainly the philosophy we began with when we started work last year on the historic Lombard Street home of Lois Sperow, whose new kitchen needed a complete rehab.
As you can read in this article that was published in last Sunday’s Philadelphia Inquirer, Sperow’s kitchen renovation came complete with a triple challenge: Because she was moving into a smaller home and had accumulated a good deal of clutter over the years, she needed to downsize. She also wanted her new kitchen to have a modern look. At the same time, Sperow hoped to find a classic, streamlined solution for displaying a large collection of dinnerware.
Long story short: The finished project resulted in HomeTech Renovations receiving a 2015 Contractor of the Year Award in the $60,000 to $100,000 category. The award comes from the Bucks-Mont Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
If you’d like to read more about the project’s specifics, which included a custom wall unit with glass doors and under-cabinet lighting for Sperow’s collectible plates, click here to read Sunday’s Philadelphia Inquirer story.
