COVID-19 Statement from HomeTech Renovations

I hope that everyone is well. Covid-19 has certainly proven to be an ever-changing situation. As you may know, last evening Governor Wolf has posted a working restriction for non-essential businesses. In researching the published guidelines, we have noted the exceptions for continued and permitted work as outlined below. Given the documented approvals below and absence or limited use of a kitchen or bath, it may be interpreted that we may be able to continue with our operation and work currently in progress. Hour by hour we are also getting updated from our vendors and shippers regarding various parts and materials that we expect and that are already in transit. As we get more information, I will continue to pass along vital information.

Please know that our employees have been following the previously communicated protocol listed below:

  1. Twice a day wipe down the interior of your vehicle with a bleach based spray
  2. Wash your hands every hour for 20 seconds using soap and warm water
  3. When in customers’ homes, wipe down the area with a disinfectant to ward off any spread. Prior to leaving the project, wipe all touched surfaces a second time.
  4. Wash hands prior to leaving home
  5. Wear gloves while working
  6. If the customer wants you to wear a mask we have some located at the shop
  7. Please use the six foot rule when speaking with your customer
  8. Collect all payments wearing gloves (ask the customer to place a check in an envelope)
  9. Explain to the customer that you will not be shaking hands upon greeting
  10. Thank them for allowing us to work
  11. Take extra precaution by taking body temperature prior to leaving your home every morning.

I will ask that all customers contact us once government mandates are lifted. Once we hear from you, we will confirm plans moving forward. Please note that any postponement will result in new scheduled timelines once we get updates from various vendors.

We understand this is a fluid situation and will provide updates regularly as they become available. We welcome any questions and/or insights that you may have.

We cannot thank you enough for continuing to support us and our families. Small businesses are the heart and soul of this country, and we are confident that with mutual support and care we will all endure these challenges and emerge stronger than ever. Thank you for your business and support!
