An expansion of the original “builder grade” kitchen was a must when planning this project, complete with a Wolf double oven range and an expansive island. The island with an icemaker, prep sink, and butcher block provides informal seating for the entire family. Incorporated within the design are raised side panel cherry glazed custom kitchen cabinets featuring an integrated wood mantle style hood. Contrasting, but coordinating, bone glazed cabinets are used for the island to give the room a dramatic punch. Adding hardwood floors brought warmth to the space.
