This project was a classic restoration in a circa 1770 home. Period inspired, beaded inset cabinets with buttermilk painted interiors were used to coordinate with a hand-painted mahogany hutch on an adjacent wall. A stone column was exposed and repainted to create an original and more rustic element. Solid cherry wood and soapstone countertops were chosen for a more natural look, and a colorful, handmade, glazed tile backsplash was designed to give the space a welcoming feel.
