At HomeTech Renovations we value distinctive design elements and unique pieces that complete a space. We would like to formally welcome Michele High Designs, LLC to the Artisan Gallery on our website which features select local artisans and businesses that offer original items and services.

Michele High specializes in custom interior and exterior window treatments, soft furnishings, upholstery, and decor. She serves customers in PA and NJ and offers friendly, expert advice and shop at home service. Michele’s interior window treatments include drapes, cornices, valances, shades, shutters, and blinds, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces that can serve as art for your windows. Her assortment of exterior treatments, from cushions and pillows to umbrellas and awnings, utilize the latest outdoor fabrics and products. Michele offers custom upholstering as well and provides dependable and prompt service for anything that needs to be recovered.

Michele also provides decorating services which include color consulting, residential space planning, and digital and distance design. During her color consultations Michele helps choose paint colors for both interior and exterior applications and produces digital renderings or simple illustrations to help her clients visualize the end result. Through her residential space planning and interior decorating, she can redesign a single room or multiple rooms depending on the needs of the client. Michele also offers convenient digital and distance design so that all work can be done by discussing details over the phone, emailing pictures, and mailing samples.

Michele is a Certified Residential Space Planner and Interior Decorator through the Art Institute. She began sewing at a very young age since her mother is a National Blue Ribbon Quilter, and she has been producing interior decor products for the last 15 years. From working as a seamstress in a variety of drapery shops and other areas of the residential decor industry, Michele has gained an advantage when it comes to designing custom applications. Due to her experiences, Michele knows every stage of measuring, fabricating, and installing window treatments and soft furnishings.

“My favorite customers are the ones where I hand them several scaled illustrations of their wall of windows and they choose the most artistic one! That’s what I live for. I love rooms that are so unique there has to be a window treatment to go into that setting. I really enjoy working with different people, hearing their ideas, and collaborating with them on what will suit them best. It’s a lot of fun! I’ve been told that for every 200 decorators, I’ll be the only one that knows how to accomplish an extremely custom job because I know how to make it. Growing up I didn’t realize that would be special. I’m truly blessed to be able to do what I love every day.” ~ Michele High

At Colkett Painting, this iColkett Painitng, wall murals, faux finish and marbling works what we do and we love it! It has been our pleasure to offer faux finishes, wall murals, gilding and more to commercial and residential property in the Bucks County, Montgomery County and Delaware County, Pennsylvania areas. With training but the best in the field, their passion has been passed on to us. Creating wall murals that reproduce the feathered grain of a walnut tree, the breche pattern of Arabasco marble, the perspective of a door opening into a sunny garden scee, the clouds, or to gild a surface in 23k gold and burnish it to a brilliant sheen, these have been my rewards. If you have a minute to look at the photos of wall murals, faux finish and marbling work completed by my very talented collection of artists and artisans and myself, professionals all, I hope you can see that passion.
